- Reservations are considered complete once we receive your reservation application form and the appropriate deposit/full payment. An additional 5% Goods and Services Tax and 8% Hotel Tax apply to all prices listed.
- Deposit & Payments: We require a deposit of 30 % of the total program fee (price plus taxes). The deposit will confirm your reservation up to 60 days prior to the trip, at which time the balance is due. If the balance is not paid by the due date, we will regard the booking as cancelled and it will not be possible to refund your deposit. For your payment we accept MC, VISA and personal cheques. If NSF charges are applied to a unvalid cheque, we will add these fees to the invoice.
- Cancellation: Should you have to cancel 60 days prior to program, Cdn$ 100.- are non-refundable to cover our reservation costs. The remainder of the deposit and any balance paid on the trip fee is refundable up to 60 days before departure. Should the cancellation be later than 60 days, the complete fee is non-refundable.
If we can not complete the program, which you have reserved, due to weather or any other reasons beyond our control, we will find an alternative program. If we can not offer an alternative program, due to any reasons beyond our control, there will be no refund. Kootenay Mountain Holidays Inc. also reserves the right to change any programs if necessary in order to ensure safety and the well-being of our guests.
Kootenay Mountain Holidays Inc. reserves the right to cancel any one's participation on a program if it will influence the program and/or the participants in an unsafe way. No refund will be issued.
- Insurance: extended medical and cancellation insurance is available and recommended, call us for details. Because of unforeseeable circumstances, we strongly recommend that participants have travel insurance, which covers medical bills, evacuation costs and trip cancellation costs. Also, be sure that your personal belongings are insured for damage, loss and theft.
- Helicopter: Customized programs may include helicopter transport. Weight restrictions do apply. If you require an extra flight or an evacuation, the cost will be your responsibility. In addition, helicopter prices quoted are subject to changes and will be charged at the time of flights made.
- Release of Liability Waiver of Claims: Our clients should be aware that there is always an element of risk in outdoor activities. Kootenay Mountain Holidays Inc. assumes no responsibility whatsoever for your personal safety or for damage to or loss of your equipment on any of our trips. Any medical and evacuation costs incurred as part of the trip are the responsibility of the client. Every participant is required to complete and sign the enclosed application form and Release of Liability Waiver prior to the trip. Apone arrival these document will be resigned by you and wittnessed by a KMH representive.
- By submitting this form as an individual or group organizer. I have read and I understand and agree to the: Reservation policies, Release of Liability Waiver of Claims, The KMH Fine Print, The Pre-Tour Info and all information made available to me. I will also refer any other individuals that will be joining me to the KMH website for all detailed information. If paying by Credit Card: I also agree to KMH debiting my card for the amounts indicated on this form.
