KMH RESERVATION POLICIES Reservations: Reservations are considered complete once we receive your reservation application form and the appropriate deposit/full payment. Prices listed are in CAN $. An additional 5% gst tax and 7% pst tax applies to all prices. A 2% increase applies to above prices for reservations made for 2012. (gst tax may be subject to change) Holding Deposits: Payment type accepted: Credit Card. Personal Cheque at our discretion. Payment Terms: Full payment for 2011 reservations is due by September 30 2010, for the winter of 2012 Sept. 30 2011. Full payment is required when reserving less than 60 days in advance, a grace period may be given at our discretion. In the event your full payment on your reservation is not received when due: The week will become available again and we reserve the right to resell your space for a price at our discretion and your deposit may then be forfeited. Payment type accepted for full payments: Cheque or Bank Draft in $CAN, or Bank Wire Telephone Transfer. In the event that we accept another currency, the exchange rate honored will be at the time we deposit your check and at our banks rate. If you prefer to pay by credit card for the full amount then an additional 2.5% fee will apply to the balance out. Lodge Rental options require payment of the full amount as listed and if a minimum group size is listed then this full amount applies. Comfortable group size for Lodge Rental is 10 people. Refunds: If you can not meet our payment terms or if you have to cancel: KMH will refund payments made less a $200.- handling fee, only if your reservation can be filled by another party at the full price listed. If KMH cancels (other then not meeting our payment terms) we will then refund the full amount you have paid to us. Any days missed due to inclement weather or any other reasons beyond our control including helicopter flight delays, are non-refundable. Insurance: Extended medical and cancellation insurance is available and recommended, please call us for details. Helicopter Transport: Above prices include helicopter transport based on standard flights necessary from Kaslo Airport. Weight restrictions do apply as found on our Pre-Trip Information. If standrd helicopter flights can not be completed due to the group having over the allowable weight then the group/individual is responsible to cover the cost of an extra flight ($500.-/ flight) Lodge Rental - Self-Guided Groups: If standard helicopter transport can not be completed due to inclement weather/change of flight plan and there is an extra cost, then the group will have to cover this cost. If an individual requires an evacuation flight they will have to cover this cost. Any extra Helicopter fees are payable in cash or by credit card only - prior to any extra flights made. Self-Guided Groups: Individuals or groups opting to reserve self-guided understand that they need to be self-sufficient and competent in regards to applying safe backcountry skiing/boarding techniques, accessing terrain, snow stability evaluation, first aid and mountain rescue. Release of Liability Waiver: All participants should pre read the Release of Liability Waiver which can be found on our Fine Print Page, prior to making their reservation. A printed version will be supplied to each participant at the Mount Carlyle Lodge and will then need to be filled out and signed prior to participation on a KMH service. I agree to the KMH Reservation Policies and if organizing a group will recommend to all participants to read the KMH Reservation Policies prior to their participation. I also allow KMH debiting the credit card supplied by phone for the Deposit or Payment Amount as indicated above. *
